My art practice uses sculpture, installation, film and painting to investigate our relationship to materiality, especially objects without a fixed form. My current work explores the viscous nature of slime. I am obsessed by the way it oozes, the way it flows, the way it drips and the way it clings to surfaces. It is disgusting but I love it. I love the way it occupies space and how it becomes other forms, I can try and control it but it is uncontrollable. I try and speak to it but I do not know its language, the slime has a soul that cannot be predicted. All I know is that I am its master and its servant.
